Guest curators will provide feedback about their work and insight on exhibition possibilities. Artists will rotate between the curators approximately every five minutes for a total of 15 minutes.

Meet your Curators:
Alex Legeros is the Executive Director of Franconia Sculpture Park and a lifelong arts leader. Alex has over two decades of experience supporting art and artists, making decisions that have directed millions of dollars through private, nonprofit, foundation, and government institutions. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Leadership program, Alex connects lessons from growing up in a family of artists, serving in the US Army, leading more than 1800 arts events, and entertaining millions of audience members and visitors during his career.
Thomas Putzier is a queer conceptual artist investigating the complex relationships among the social, political, and economic systems that shape society today. Exhibitions include Franconia Sculpture Park, Gallery 120, I-Park Foundation, Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art, Minneapolis Institute of Art, Neon Museum, and Sagehen Creek Field Station, among others. Putzier received a MFA from University of Nevada Reno at Lake Tahoe and a BFA in Art and Architecture from University of Illinois at Chicago. Permanent collections include Neon Museum, Las Vegas, NV.
Dr Megan Arney Johnston is an educator, independent curator, and writer based in the Minneapolis/St Paul area. Currently Assistant Professor at Metro State University in St Paul and Director of the Gordon Parks Gallery, she has curated hundreds of exhibitions, publications, projects, educational events, and community engagements. Arney Johnston’s research has developed a framework for a curatorial process called ‘Slow Curating.’ It enables, explores and expands museum, educational, and exhibition experiences for more relevantly public engagement. Her book Slow Curating: A Handbook for Socially Engaged Curatorial Practices, will be published by Routledge, UK – Heritage and Museum Studies in 2027.
